Tuition for in-state students at Schenectady County Community College rose by 4.3% during the 2022-23 academic year, based on the latest available information, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

New York residents paid $5,764 to attend the two-year public college this year, an increase of $240 from the $5,524 charged in the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students were charged 86.8% more than in-state students in 2022-23, paying $10,768. This represents a 3.2% increase from the $10,432 tuition fee for non-residents in 2021-22.

Approximately 99% of the undergraduate student body at the college are New York residents, with the remaining 1% coming from other states.

Data indicates that 83% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at Schenectady County Community College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. Specifically, 305 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $2.4 million, while 59 students obtained student loans amounting to more than $264,900.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 1,128 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $8.3 million. Additionally, 320 students secured $1.6 million in federal student loans.
