Washington, D.C. – Elise Stefanik, the House Republican Leadership Chairwoman, recently appeared on Fox News’ The Story with Martha MacCallum. In the interview, Stefanik addressed several key issues related to safeguarding American elections and the accountability of Columbia University regarding antisemitism.

Discussing the House Republicans’ efforts to ensure election integrity, Stefanik highlighted the SAVE Act. She stated, “As a married woman myself, of course, we are going to do everything we can to secure the vote and make sure that we have constitutional elections.” Stefanik emphasized the need for identification to vote, equating it to daily activities requiring ID. She argued that a majority of Americans support this measure and criticized Democrats for being out of touch.

Stefanik continued to attack Democrats for allegedly allowing illegal immigrants to vote, particularly in New York City elections. She claimed, “Think about the fact that Democrats are standing opposed to this verification process to ensure that only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote.” Stefanik accused Democrats of using scare tactics and asserted, “The facts aren’t with them, and the American people don’t support them in their very radical position.”

The interview also touched on Stefanik’s collaboration with former President Trump in confronting Columbia University over antisemitism on its campus. Stefanik criticized elite educational institutions for not adequately protecting Jewish students, saying, “They have failed to enforce the rules. We’re now on our third university president.” She emphasized the importance of federal oversight if necessary, supporting the administration’s stance on the issue.

The full interview and additional information can be accessed through Stefanik’s official communication channels.
