Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has issued a response to a recent task force report from Harvard University, which addresses instances of antisemitism within its community. Stefanik characterizes the findings as evidence of “longtime, deep-rooted, dangerous, & rampant antisemitism embedded in coursework, campus life, and faculty hiring.”
Highlighting the report as indicative of a broader crisis, Stefanik states, “This is further confirmation of the significant moral crisis facing higher education that I have sounded the alarm on in Congress.”
She also calls for tangible actions, emphasizing, “There must be accountability and real reform to save American higher education — not just reports.”
The Congresswoman’s concerns align with a broader dialogue on the presence of discrimination and inclusion within academic institutions. As debates continue, Stefanik urges for concerted efforts beyond acknowledgment to address the issues highlighted by the Harvard task force.
