Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, featuring former Schalmont High School standout Jerek Hobb, secured a 19-5 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in NCAA Division I baseball on Friday, March 6, at 6 p.m.

The matchup, which took place at O’Brate Stadium, marked their first contest against Oklahoma State this season.

Hobb threw two innings, giving up one earned run and tallying four strikeouts.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs are set to play again at O’Brate Stadium on Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m., facing Oklahoma State once more.
