On Wednesday, April 9, former Colonie Central High School standout Giovanni Conte’s current college team, the UConn Huskies, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Hofstra Pride.

The game took place at Elliot Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6:05 p.m. at Elliot Ballpark against Georgetown Hoyas.
