On Sunday, April 13, former Averill Park High School standout Maisie Dawson’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their third matchup against the Flames this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Valparaiso Beacons.
