On Thursday, April 17, former Averill Park High School standout Maisie Dawson’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Valparaiso Beacons.
