Saratoga Hospital has received reaccreditation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Robotic Surgery from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), an organization known for its focus on patient safety. The hospital underwent a detailed evaluation by an SRC inspector, meeting strict standards related to surgical expertise, quality assurance, and patient safety.

The reaccreditation confirms that Saratoga Hospital and its surgeons adhere to international standards for patient safety and quality care. The hospital stated that this designation demonstrates ongoing efforts to provide high-quality surgical services.

“This recognition isn’t just about achieving a title, it’s about upholding a culture of excellence across every department that touches our surgical patients,” said Jill VanKuren, President and CEO. “It’s a proud moment for our entire team.”

Alongside the reaccreditation, four surgeons at Saratoga Hospital were named SRC Surgeons of Excellence. In minimally invasive gynecology, Anouk R. Lambers, MD, and Siobhan F. Hayden, MD received recognition. For robotic surgery, Anouk R. Lambers, MD, and Dmitri V. Baranov, MD, PhD were recognized.
