On Friday, Feb. 28, former Shaker High School standout Joe Karpierz’s current college team, the Xavier Musketeers, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stanford Cardinals.

The game took place at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Musketeers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1:05 p.m. at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond against Stanford Cardinals.
