House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik joined “Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” on Fox News. During her appearance, Stefanik addressed key topics including reconciliation efforts and President Trump’s executive order on Harvard’s tax-exempt status.

On the topic of reconciliation, Stefanik emphasized the House Republicans’ commitment to delivering what she described as the “hallmark of President Trump’s agenda.” Stefanik noted, “We know the stakes are incredibly high, and we are committed to getting this done,” referring to a legislative package that she claims includes measures for American energy independence and fiscal reforms, among other provisions. Stefanik criticized the Biden administration, stating there has been “rampant waste, fraud, and abuse of US taxpayer dollars.” She stressed the importance of a “fiscally responsible pro-growth bill that also secures our borders.”

Stefanik also commented on the importance of relieving taxes across the country, highlighting that New York shifted towards Republican support during the recent elections. She stated, “What’s interesting, Maria, is if you look in New York, no state moved more to the Republican direction than New York State in terms of President Trump’s historic support.”

On the subject of President Trump’s executive order, which removed Harvard’s tax-exempt status, Stefanik was supportive. She remarked, “100% President Trump did the right thing,” and mentioned her leadership role on this issue in the House. She argued that Harvard has a systematic issue with anti-Semitism and praised Trump for taking action. Stefanik also criticized New York Governor Kathy Hochul for not implementing a “zero-tolerance policy” against anti-Semitism, asserting, “In the state of New York, there is anti-Semitism raging in our streets.”

Stefanik’s discussion with Bartiromo highlighted her support for Trump’s policies and her critique of current state and national leadership, particularly focusing on financial and educational issues.
