City of Troy, NY issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
TROY, NY – City officials have issued a traffic advisory associated with work at the State Street Municipal Parking Garage. On Saturday, January 9th, the State Street Municipal Parking Garage will be closed for the scheduled demolition of the garage stair tower. The closure will be in effect all day Saturday.
Permit holders will be able to leave the garage via River St. entrance/exit only. Lower exit to Front St. will be blocked off. Lower River St. will be closed at 1st St., and State St. will be closed from 1st to Front St.
Permit holders are asked to move their cars away from the stair tower. Parking restrictions will be in effect immediately adjacent to the tower.
