Ms. Bauer and Mrs. Roth’s Life and Literacy class visited the second grade classes at Berlin Elementary to read original children’s books.
The high school students wrote the children’s stories as part of a project focusing on narrative structure, audience, and author’s purpose.
The students were excited to share their work with a young audience, and it was a chance to encourage literacy among the younger students and model being a lifelong reader and writer. – Ms. Bauer
