On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Schenectady High School standout David Bernard, Jr.’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 19-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Braves this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against Post Eagles.
