Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has voiced her stance on the Biden Administration's energy policies by voting to pass a resolution denouncing what she perceives as a detrimental approach to American energy.

"The American people have had enough of Biden’s failed Far Left Green New Deal agenda and his war on American energy, which is why I co-led this important resolution to address the skyrocketing energy prices in Upstate New York and the North Country. Our country elected a House Republican Majority to fight Joe Biden’s war on American energy, unleash American energy dominance, and drive down energy costs for hardworking Americans," said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.

Stefanik's actions align with her past efforts in March 2023 when she voted for the Lower Energy Costs Act (H.R. 1), a significant energy package aimed at tackling rising energy costs and countering what she sees as the Biden Administration's aggressive stance on American energy. The act focuses on initiatives such as increasing domestic energy production, reforming permitting processes, reversing anti-energy policies, streamlining energy infrastructure and exports, and enhancing the production of critical minerals.

The resolution and Stefanik's statement reflect a broader political divide on energy policies in the United States, with debates centered around energy independence, cost reduction, and environmental considerations.
