Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released a statement applauding the Supreme Court's unanimous decision in NRA v. Vullo, which protects the First Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners from efforts by New York state officials to pressure companies to sever their ties with the National Rifle Association (NRA).
"The Supreme Court’s unanimous decision in NRA v. Vullo is an overwhelming victory for Americans’ Constitutional rights, defending law-abiding gun owners from Far Left Albany Democrats’ attempts to illegally pressure companies to sever ties with the NRA. I was proud to sign an amicus brief in support of the 2nd Amendment to defend our Constitution," Stefanik stated.
In January 2024, Stefanik joined her colleagues in a bicameral amicus brief submitted to the United States Supreme Court in support of the NRA in this case.
