House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik joined The Howie Carr Show to discuss Kamala Harris's recent agreement to an interview after weeks of avoiding public addresses on her policy record. Stefanik also addressed the issue of antisemitism in higher education as students return to campus.

During the interview, Stefanik criticized Harris, stating, "Democrats anointed Kamala Harris. Not a single Democrat primary vote was cast across this country, so they swapped out Joe Biden because Joe Biden’s polls were continuing to bottom out in an act of true desperation." She added that Harris is being portrayed by the media in a favorable light despite her legislative history and tenure as vice president.

Stefanik emphasized that Harris should be held accountable for her role in various issues, including border control and inflation. "Kamala Harris was the deciding vote for Joe Biden’s Inflation Expansion Act," she said. "She owns the failure of the Biden-Harris Administration."

On Harris's reluctance to address the American people directly, Stefanik remarked, "She has not done an interview for weeks... That is unheard of." She expressed disappointment that Harris chose to do her first major interview with Tim Walz rather than alone.

Stefanik outlined several questions she believes Harris should answer during interviews, focusing on topics such as border security, the Afghanistan withdrawal, inflation, fracking policies, and support for defunding the police.

Regarding antisemitism in higher education, Stefanik condemned universities for allowing hostile environments against Jewish students. "Colleges should never have allowed what happened on campuses last year to ever have occurred," she stated. She called for compliance with Title VI requirements and disciplinary actions against those promoting antisemitic sentiments.

Stefanik also criticized diversity offices at universities for failing to support Jewish students adequately. "In the case of Harvard, you had hundreds of Jewish students reach out to the office of DEI, and the office of DEI did not even respond," she noted.
