House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik appeared on Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News to discuss the foreign policy of the Biden-Harris Administration, particularly criticizing its stance towards Israel and its handling of antisemitism in higher education. Stefanik also addressed efforts by House Republicans to protect the integrity of American elections.
Stefanik emphasized the need for strong leadership in higher education to combat antisemitism. "It’s a disgrace, and we continue to see higher education promote antisemitic leaders and antisemitism," she stated. She called for legislative oversight on taxpayer funding for these institutions, advocating for the enforcement of Title VI protections for Jewish students.
Addressing U.S. foreign policy towards Israel, Stefanik criticized the administration's response to hostage situations involving American-Israeli citizens. "This happened on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ watch," she said, condemning their decision to withhold military aid at critical times. She argued that Vice President Harris is not fit to serve as Commander-in-Chief due to these actions.
On election integrity, Stefanik highlighted the SAVE Act as a priority for House Republicans, aimed at ensuring only American citizens can vote in U.S. elections. She criticized Democrats' opposition to this act and their stance on border security measures.
Stefanik concluded by asserting that current Democratic policies undermine constitutional principles and election integrity, stating that Republicans are united in preventing non-citizens from voting in U.S. elections.
