Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released a statement on recent reports concerning former Governor Andrew Cuomo. The report alleges that Cuomo and his senior aides ordered and executed an executive order related to nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 15,000 seniors.
"Today’s bombshell reporting that disgraced Governor Cuomo himself and his senior aides ordered, directed, and executed the deadly nursing home executive order killing over 15,000 vulnerable seniors confirms what hardworking New Yorkers have already known," Stefanik stated. "This bombshell testimony coming to light also reveals that the disgraced former Governor Cuomo and his top aides were caught covering up their culpability and guilt to try to selfishly save their shredded reputations. There is no question that Andrew Cuomo is responsible for the deaths of innocent nursing home seniors."
