Washington, D.C. - On September 10, 2024, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik appeared on Fox Business's Kudlow to discuss what she described as the successes of the Trump administration in contrast to the failures of the Biden-Harris administration.

Stefanik criticized Vice President Kamala Harris's handling of various issues, including border security, economic policies, and foreign affairs. "Kamala Harris owns and is one of the reasons behind Joe Biden’s catastrophic failures," Stefanik stated. She highlighted Harris's role as "open border czar" and blamed her for contributing to high inflation through her vote for the Inflation Expansion Act.

In discussing federal agencies and higher education institutions, Stefanik said that DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives have caused significant problems. "Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, DEI has been a priority for the Department of Defense that should be focused on our military lethality," she remarked.

Stefanik also addressed economic concerns related to what she termed "Kamalanomics." She claimed that Harris's economic policies would lead to substantial tax increases and continued inflationary pressures. In contrast, Stefanik praised former President Trump's economic strategies: "We saw it in the first term of President Trump where we had significant wage growth."

The interview concluded with Stefanik asserting that American voters will recognize a clear distinction between Trump's and Harris's policies: “Certainly the American people are going to be tuning in, and the more they learn about Kamala Harris, the lower her support goes.”
