House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss what she described as Vice President Kamala Harris' "failed, anti-American record." Stefanik criticized Harris for her handling of immigration and foreign policy, particularly focusing on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Stefanik stated, “Let's start with the border, Brian. Kamala Harris is Joe Biden's open border czar. In fact, I put a resolution on the House Floor, and even multiple Democrats voted, condemning her role as Joe Biden's open border czar. She owns this illegal immigration crisis that has led to crime skyrocketing, that has led to loss of life of law-abiding Americans because of her radical policies."
She continued by addressing the impact on local communities: “Well, I can tell you, President Trump does know the names. He has spoken to the families who have lost loved ones because of Kamala Harris' failure as Joe Biden's open border czar... We have had an enormous skyrocketing of illegals crossing the Northern Border in the Swanton Sector including individuals on the terrorist watchlist."
Stefanik also commented on Harris' qualifications for higher office: “And everyone knows, President Trump would have made sure every piece of equipment, everything would have come back to the United States and not leave it for the Taliban... Kamala Harris was the last person in the room when he ordered this catastrophic withdrawal... The American people are tired of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris trying to blame President Trump for their failures.”
