Congresswoman Elise Stefanik issued a statement regarding Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden-Harris Administration's border policies.

“Joe Biden’s Open Border Czar Kamala Harris has released tens of thousands of illegals who are rapists and murderers into our country endangering our communities. Due to Kamala Harris’ failed open border policies, the Biden-Harris Administration has turned every district into a border district and put the safety and security of every American family at risk. Kamala Harris incentivized this mass invasion and failed to equip our brave and hardworking border patrol agents and CBP officers with the tools and resources to keep us safe. Every crime committed against an American by an illegal is a result of Kamala Harris’ failure to safeguard our borders,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.

According to newly shared ICE data, there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending criminal charges among those released. The data includes 62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 with drug convictions, and 13,099 convicted of homicide. Additionally, 2,521 have kidnapping convictions and 15,811 have sexual assault convictions. There are also 1,845 with pending homicide charges, 42,915 with assault charges, 3,266 with burglary charges, and 4,250 with assault charges.
