Cost of college went up for all students at Maria College of Albany

Tuition and fees rose 3.6 percent for 2018-19 at Maria College of Albany, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $15,140 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $530 more than the $14,610 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 94 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 10 students received grants or scholarships totaling $15,177 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $55,525.

Including all undergraduates (912), 668 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 606 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
