A Colonie woman is facing charges by the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office, following a complaint made by the Rensselaer County Probation Department of drug activity occurring near a local drug treatment facility.
Lynn Sherman, 56, is being charged with PL 220.16 (1) - Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug with Intent to Sell (B Felony), as well as PL 220.39 (1) - Criminal Sale of a Narcotic Drug (B Felony).
Sherman was taken into custody on a sealed indictment and arraigned in Rensselaer County Court on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in front of the Honorable Judge Jennifer Sober where she was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail. Sherman is scheduled to re-appear in County Court for future proceedings.
Sherman was under the supervision of Albany County Probation for previous drug related charges at the time of her arrest by the Sheriff’s Office.
