White Sulphur Springs, WV – House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik, along with Speaker Mike Johnson and Chairman Richard Hudson, opened the House Republican Annual Issues Conference emphasizing the importance of seizing a historic opportunity to save America from what they described as the failed Far Left policies of the Biden administration.
Stefanik addressed the audience, stating, “We are in the midst of a historic opportunity to save America, to save the American dream." She highlighted the challenges faced by American families under Joe Biden's leadership, including issues like the border crisis, inflation, and attacks on allies like Israel.
The Chairwoman expressed the Republican Party's commitment to hardworking Americans, law enforcement, veterans, small businesses, farmers, families, seniors, and parents, noting the growing support for Republicans among various demographics. She emphasized the contrast between the Republican Party's values and what she described as the Extreme Democrat Far Left agenda led by Biden.
Stefanik called for strong America First leadership, mentioning former President Trump and the need for a Republican Senate and House Majority. She also praised Richard Hudson for his work in recruiting strong candidates to strengthen the House Republican majority.
The conference, held in West Virginia, served as a platform for House Republicans to strategize for the upcoming November election and discuss key policy areas. Topics included economic, pro-family, and national defense policies, as well as presentations on polling data and special guest appearances.
