House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik recently joined The Chris Salcedo Show on Newsmax, where she discussed advancing President Trump's America First agenda in Congress. During the interview, she emphasized the importance of passing President Trump's budget bill, citing the alignment of having a Republican majority in both the Senate and the House along with President Trump in the White House.

Stefanik stated, "We have a once in a generation opportunity with President Trump in the White House, with Senate Republican majority and a House Republican majority. We know that we must deliver for the American people." She outlined the goals of the agenda, which includes securing the border, fostering American energy independence, and implementing tax cuts aimed at small businesses and American families.

In her role as Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership, Stefanik reflected on the challenges of maintaining unity within a slim House majority, adding, "I cast that deciding vote to move that process forward, to ultimately pass the budget." Stefanik also highlighted her continued efforts to address fiscal savings and tax issues, stressing the need for action on promises made by President Trump.

The conversation touched on the economic impact of Trump's leadership. Stefanik described Trump as "the master dealmaker" and credited his policies with strengthening the American economy. "President Trump will always put the American worker first," she remarked, noting the importance of American manufacturing and standing firm against China.

Additionally, Stefanik addressed the issue of antisemitism in higher education, asserting her commitment to holding universities accountable. "I want to focus on holding these colleges and universities accountable for their failure to address and root out antisemitism," Stefanik said, referencing her active role in related committee work.

Stefanik reiterated her commitment to securing the border and ensuring fiscal responsibility for future generations, drawing on her personal perspective as a mother.
