Cost of college went up for all students at Mildred Elley School-Albany Campus

Tuition and fees rose 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at Mildred Elley School-Albany Campus, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $12,934 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $649 more than the $12,285 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 82 students received grants or scholarships totaling $494,347 and 83 students took out student loans totaling more than $654,863.

Including all undergraduates (422), 410 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.3 million, and 419 students took out $3.3 million in federal student loans.
