Albany County is gearing up to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day at Bring On The Spectrum (BOTS) on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The event aims to mark Autism Acceptance Month by promoting understanding, recognition, and celebration of differences.

According to an unknown source, "Autism Acceptance Month provides an opportunity not only to create awareness but to understand, recognize and celebrate our differences."

The event will feature the participation of BOTS Founder Lisa Audi and several students who contributed to the design of the latest Albany County reusable insulated grocery bags. The celebration is set to take place at 10:30 am at BOTS located at 71 Fuller Road, Albany, 12205. It will serve as a platform to raise awareness about autism and foster a more inclusive community.
