House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik addressed her colleagues regarding last week’s verdict in New York, which she described as evidence of a corrupt and rigged justice system under President Joe Biden and the Democrats. Stefanik emphasized that House Republicans are committed to supporting veterans and maintaining strong ties with Israel.

Stefanik criticized the New York case, calling it a "zombie case illegally brought forward by a corrupt prosecutor doing Joe Biden’s political bidding." She alleged that the case relied on testimony from a convicted felon who had been disbarred for lying and perjury. According to Stefanik, the trial was overseen by a judge she described as corrupt and unethical, who had imposed an unconstitutional gag order on former President Trump and his team. She also claimed that the prosecution team consisted of individuals funded by George Soros and included Democrat political operatives.

"We must work and are committed to working around the clock to ensure President Trump is victorious this November to save America from Biden’s failed Far Left Democrat agenda," Stefanik stated.

Looking ahead, Stefanik highlighted that House Republicans would focus on delivering for veterans and supporting Israel. She criticized President Biden for allegedly turning his back on Israel, particularly for not sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC) after what she called politically motivated actions against Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. To address this, House Republicans plan to bring Chip Roy’s bill, the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, to the House floor.

Additionally, Stefanik mentioned that they would introduce the MilCon-VA Appropriations bill aimed at fully funding veterans’ programs while prohibiting funding for what she termed "woke priorities" of the Biden Administration. The legislation will also secure Fort Drum in Upstate New York as a missile defense site.
