House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik appeared on Fox News’ Life, Liberty & Levin to address various issues including the Biden administration's handling of border security, U.S. relations with Israel, and actions taken against former President Donald Trump.

Stefanik criticized President Biden’s approach to border security, stating: “Joe Biden has created the most catastrophic border crisis in our nation's history, and the American people know it.” She emphasized that House Republicans passed the Secure the Border Act a year ago but claimed that President Biden refused to support it and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer blocked it. According to Stefanik, Biden's recent executive order is a "political desperation" move that fails to resolve border issues.

Discussing further, she said: “It would have opened up the floodgates for more illegal immigrants... We know what a secure border looks like; It looks like President Trump's effective border security policies when we had the most secure border in my lifetime.” She also noted an increase in illegal crossings at both southern and northern borders under Biden’s leadership.

Stefanik highlighted significant humanitarian concerns related to border security, mentioning that nearly 100,000 minors are unaccounted for and may be victims of human trafficking. She reiterated her support for reinstating Trump-era policies to manage immigration effectively.

On U.S.-Israel relations, Stefanik expressed disappointment with what she described as growing antisemitism within the Democratic Party and criticized Biden for withholding military aid approved by Congress. “I was honored to be invited by the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset... This was the same week that Joe Biden attempted and is still withholding military aid,” she stated. She compared this with Trump’s Middle East policies which included recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital and facilitating peace agreements.

Addressing allegations against former President Trump, Stefanik accused Democrats of weaponizing the justice system. “This is shredding our democracy... It's really Democrats who are attacking our democracy,” she argued. She referenced ethics complaints filed against officials involved in legal actions against Trump and suggested these were politically motivated efforts intended to undermine him ahead of elections.

Stefanik concluded by asserting confidence in Republican victories in upcoming elections: “President Trump is correct that the real verdict will be rendered this November on Election Day when President Trump wins overwhelmingly.”
