Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital has announced the completion of an extensive construction and renovation project valued at over $11 million. The development includes a new therapy gym, the addition of a Vector Gait and Safety System, an updated nurses' station, new patient rooms, and the conversion of older triple and quad rooms into singles and doubles. The project also added meeting and storage spaces.

Chris Jordan, senior vice president of hospital operations for Sunnyview, expressed satisfaction with the project's completion. "We’re thrilled with the completion of the 3 East project. This has been several years in the making," he stated. Jordan emphasized that the design was aimed at creating a more therapeutic environment for patients and communities served by Sunnyview. He noted that it positions Sunnyview to enhance its capabilities while supporting emerging technologies and care delivery in the future.

Jordan extended gratitude to those who contributed to making this project possible: "We thank everyone who has contributed to this project, from our many generous donors, to the community, to all the staff who have worked hard to see this become reality."
