Graduates earn 295 degrees from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

About 98 percent of the 295 degrees and certificates handed out by Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Albany conferred 225 doctor's degrees and 44 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in pharmacy. Data shows the school gave out 225 doctor's degrees in pharmacy, followed by 28 bachelor's degrees in pharmaceutical sciences and 10 master's degrees in clinical laboratory science/medical technology/technologist.

The college enrolled 1,331 students for 2017-18, including 859 in undergraduate programs and 472 in graduate programs.
