87 percent of applicants to The College of Saint Rose were admitted for fall 2018

At The College of Saint Rose, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Albany enrolled 3,983 students in fall 2018, including 2,489 in undergraduate and 1,494 in graduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 19 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).

The school admitted 87 percent of the 6,408 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 11 percent enrolled.
