Cost of college went up for all students at The Sage Colleges

Tuition and fees rose 3.3 percent for 2018-19 at The Sage Colleges, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $30,857 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $993 more than the $29,864 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 201 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.5 million and 171 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,633), 1,213 students used grants or scholarships totaling $22.6 million, and 1,035 students took out $7 million in federal student loans.
