Assemblyman Scott Bendett (R,C-Sand Lake) announced today that his office has secured $50,000 in grants for the towns of Schodack, Bethlehem, Kinderhook, and Schaghticoke American Legion Post 731. The funds are designated for recreational improvements across the district. These grants will support upgrades and new developments aimed at enhancing green space and public spaces for residents.

"I have made it a priority to work closely with our local municipal leaders to identify and secure funding for projects that directly benefit our communities. These grants will provide necessary improvements to our parks and recreational facilities, ensuring they remain safe, welcoming spaces for all residents to enjoy. I am committed to investing in our district’s future, and these upgrades are a significant step in enhancing the quality of life for everyone in our community," said Bendett.
